Take Action

Make a difference in Troy — every action counts.

Get Involved

There are many opportunities to help with a campaign. The biggest importance of any campaign is engagement and outreach. As a volunteer, you would be integral in connecting any candidate to your community.

You can do this by helping manage a campaign, canvassing by phone or door, hosting an event, participating in events, or being a donor.

We are constantly looking for new people to engage their pocket communities because the greater our outreach, the better we can find and elect people to represent us in government. Knowing the stakeholders, new and old, in every community is something we strive to identify, nurture, and expand.

Meet committee members, network with peers, and organize with community leaders monthly.

Donate

Host a Campaign Event

Kennedy-style campaigning has made a comeback. We would walk you through the entire process as you host members of your neighborhood to meet candidates running in the City of Troy. This opportunity allows the candidate to reach a small group of people, allowing communities to build with neighborhood-based outreach.

Gather your friends, and the candidate(s) will come and speak at your house and then mingle with everyone in attendance.

What You'll Need as a Host

  • Contact information for local friends and neighbors
  • A medium-sized space to host the gathering
  • Willingness to do initial invitations and manage RSVPs
  • A small platter of treats — coffee, tea, and snacks

We'll guide you through the whole process — you don't need to be an expert!
