City of Troy Democratic Committee

Meet Troy's local Democratic Party organization: our officers, district leaders, and the people behind the work.

About Us

We're the City of Troy Democratic Committee, Troy's local arm of the Democratic Party. We recruit candidates, run voter registration drives, and keep Democrats on the ballot in all six council districts.

Our members knock doors, staff polling sites, and show up at council meetings. The Democratic council majority didn't happen by accident. It took years of organizing, recruitment, and turning out voters in every neighborhood.

We're part of the broader Rensselaer County Democratic Committee and we're always looking for new members. If you want to run for office, volunteer on a campaign, or just stay connected, reach out.
